Learning Programmes
a. Learning Programmes are occupationally based and when completed will constitute credits towards a qualification registered in terms of the National Qualifications Framework. Our programmes are aligned with the NQF and provide the learner with the opportunity to gain credits towards various registered qualifications:
a. National Certificate: Occupationally Directed ETD Practices level 5
b. FETC: Business administration and support services level 4
c. FETC: New Venture Creation level 4
d. FETC: Generic Management level 4
Assessment Services
We follow a structured process of gathering evidence and judge an individual’s performance against the criteria as stipulated in registered unit standards and qualifications. This service applies to the following purposes:
• Determine training needs
• Recruitment and promotion
• Determine learners’ progress
• Performance Management
• Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
• Certification
Skills Development Facilitator Service
Outsource your skills development functions to us and we will ensure that the following are implemented:
• Register at the relevant Sector Education and Training Authorities SETA(s) as the client’s Skills
Development Facilitator (SDF)
• Appoint and chair the Training Committee on behalf of the client (more than 50 Employees)
• Compile a Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and submit it to the relevant SETA
• Monitor the implementation of the WSP and provide monthly written feedback to the client on the
progress thereof
• Advise on accredited providers for implementation of training
• Develop annual Skills reports and submit it to the relevant SETA
• Advise the client on quality standards set by the relevant SETA
• Act as contact person between the client and the relevant SETA
• Serve as a resource with regard to all aspects of skills development
• Conduct a Skills Audit in the workplace (optional extra)
Project Management of Learnerships
• Submit a letter of intent, on behalf of the client, to the relevant SETA for taking part in learnerships
• Arrange for workplace evaluation
• Arrange for selected learners’ pre-assessment
• Identify Training Providers for selected learnerships
• Arrange for contractual agreement between client, learner and training provider
• Assist with the compilation of the learnership programme in the workplace
• Conduct monitoring meetings with company skills development committee on a monthly basis
• Identify and equip mentor(s) and workplace assessor(s) to become involved in the learnership process
• Support learner according to the learnership programme for the duration of the contract
• Report to the client on learners’ progress according to the learnership programme
Assistance with Training Provider Accreditation
• Introduce a QMS for accreditation
• Conduct workshops on the application process
• Train role players for accreditation (Assessors, Moderators, Facilitators)
• Do internal quality assurance of the application process before submission.
Personal Analysis for Self Development (Tool: DNA Pin code)
• Analyse individual pin codes
• Introduce Life Coaching for personal improvement or management skills improvement, etc.
• Present the Pin code as tool for implementation in the workplace
BEE Compliance Advice
• Advise on BEE requirements in relation to Skills development criteria
• Skills Development Planning and Reporting
• Skills Development Implementation
